Robert E. Bachman , 65, is the president and a director of USGT Investors Management Company, Inc., which is the general partner of USGT Investors, LP ("USGT"), a Dallas-based investment/merchant bank founded by Mr. Bachman and two other partners in 1988. USGT works primarily with private equity funds to source and invest in private companies in the United States and internationally. Mr. Bachman and his partners have founded and sold several private companies, including a natural gas marketing company and a reverse mortgage company. Mr. Bachman received a B.A. from Bowdoin College and an MBA from Columbia University. He served as an officer in the U.S. Navy.

Charles J. Darnell is currently a businessman and consultant in business strategy, information technology, supply chain and sales and marketing with more than 50 years experience in residential, commercial and industrial lighting and executive management. For 43 years, from March 1963 until retirement in August 2005, Mr. Darnell was with Lithonia Lighting, later named Acuity Brands, where he started as CIO and became Vice Chairman by the time of his retirement in 2005. The company had $15MM in sales when he started and was doing $2.2 billion when he retired.
Since he left Acuity, he has consulted with several companies specializing in technology such as lighting, wireless networks and electronic medical and metering equipment. He and his family own the following five interior design companies, International Arts Group, Lighting Effects, Wingz Marketing, Trimarc Logistics and iDesign.
Currently, Mr. Darnell is a board member and on the executive committee of Lighting Science Group Corporation. He is an ordained elder in the Presbyterian Church and a board member of the Emory Healthcare Eye Clinic.
Donald R. Harkleroad , 62, currently serves as president of The Bristol Company and has served in that position for more than five years. Located in Atlanta, Georgia, The Bristol Company and its subsidiaries comprise a diversified investment and management holding company with interests in finance, food, and technology. Mr. Harkleroad is a graduate of the University of Georgia and of the New York University School of Law, where he was a Weinfeld Associate and editor-in-chief of The Journal of International Law & Politics . Mr. Harkleroad is past chairman of the International Law Section and of the Corporation and Banking Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia, as well as chairman of the Taxation Committee of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association. He also served for several years as adjunct professor of law at Emory Law School, teaching in the areas of corporate, partnership, and tax law. He is a director of the Society of International Business Fellows, a member of the World Economic Forum, and a director of several public and private companies and charitable organizations.

James "Jim" Haworth joins Lighting Science Group after having left a senior executive position with Philips as vice president of marketing and strategy. Jim has a strong background in general management, finance and marketing. His rise in the lighting industry began when he served concurrently as the president and CEO of JJI Lighting Group, overseeing its general management, operations, finance and manufacturing. Strategically selling JJI in 2006 to Genlyte Group, Haworth supervised the company's acquisition and implementation, only to continue his success when Genlyte was subsequently purchased by Philips in 2008. Jim is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BBA from Loyola University of Chicago and a MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University. He is a member of several professional associations, including The Presidents Forum and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Leaving Chicago to make Florida his new home, Jim is being joined in this new venture with his wife and two daughters.
Michael W. Kempner, 51, is the founder, president and chief executive officer of MWW Group. Kempner is a nationally recognized authority on investor relations, public affairs, business-to-business, and consumer marketing and corporate social responsibility and Kempner has successfully guided corporate communications programs for numerous companies.
T. Michael Moseley, 60, is a retired United States Air Force four-star general. Moseley is a fighter pilot with more than 2,800 flight hours, many in the F-15 Eagle. Moseley's final Air Force assignment was Chief of Staff of the Air Force. He retired from the Air Force in August 2008.
