Govi RaoChairman and Chief Executive Officer -
Govi Rao was formerly Vice President and General Manager of the Philips Solid State Lighting business in North America, responsible for pioneering sustainable technologies such as solid state lighting. Mr. Rao had previously held several leadership roles in Philips Lighting, including Senior Director of its professional lighting business and Vice President of Business Creation and Brand. Mr. Rao is a founding member of the advisory board at the Institute for Sustainable Enterprise at Fairleigh Dickinson University, and he also serves as an advisor on the U.S.-China Center for Sustainability.

Ken HoneycuttPresident and Chief Operating Officer -
Mr. Honeycutt brings more than 30 years of experience in the lighting industry, including his role as Chief Executive Officer and President of Acuity Brands Lighting and Executive Vice President of Acuity Brands Inc. Prior to that, he was President of Lithonia Lighting Group, the leading brand of lighting equipment for commercial, industrial, outdoor, and residential applications in North America.
Mr. Honeycutt earned his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from North Carolina State University, his MBA from Georgia State University and his Advanced Management Program certificate from Harvard Business School. -
Kevin FurryChief Technology Officer -
Kevin Fury was previously co-founder and past president of LED Effects, now part of Lighting Science. Mr. Furry began his career as a programmer for companies such as Epyx, Disney, Lucasfilm and the Learning Company. He holds several patents for gaming devices and lighting systems. Mr. Furry's role designing LED systems is informed by his artistic creativity and engineering skills.

Fred MaxikChief Scientific Officer -
Fred Maxik currently serves as the Chief Scientific Officer for LSGC. Over the last two decades of working with LEDs, Fred has developed extensive know-how and expertise resulting in strong Intellectual Property in various areas of LED lighting. He is the former Vice President of Product Development for Onkyo Electronics and Sansui Electronics in Japan.

Zach GiblerChief Business Development Officer -
Zachary S. Gibler is responsible for overseeing sales, marketing and product development at the company. Mr. Gibler previously served as a Vice President at lighting fixture leader Acuity Brands Company. Mr. Gibler began his career at Acuity in 1994 and has held a variety of positions from sales management and marketing to technology development. Mr. Gibler is a lighting industry veteran with more than 13 years of experience.

Lynn VeraChief Human Resources Officer -
Lynn Vera is chief human resources officer of Lighting Science Group. She is responsible for managing the Company's staffing, organizational development, compensation, employee relations, performance management, benefits, HRIS and payroll. Vera has more than 15 years of experience across a breadth of human resources functions and has led employee strategy and tactical human resource plans for companies of all sizes, ranging from small start-ups to Fortune 500 enterprises. Previously, she developed the human resources function for three companies under the Dimensional Associates digital music portfolio. Vera also served as Director of Talent Acquisition at McKesson, where she was responsible for recruiting for the largest division of this Fortune 20 Company, representing approximately 1500 hires annually. Vera has also held senior human resources positions at Phoenix Pop Productions and Union Bank of California. She has a keen eye for talent and the experience to build employee functions that attract, harness and reward that talent.

Paul KallmesIntellectual Property Strategist -
Mr. Kallmes has over a decade of experience in intellectual property management across several technology sectors. He previously served as Director of Licensing at Color Kinetics, a subsidiary of Philips that develops and markets solid-state lighting solutions, where he formalized the licensing process for one of the largest intellectual property portfolios in the lighting industry. Mr. Kallmes also established a platform for managing intellectual property at Rockwell Scientific. He is currently a board member of the Licensing Executive Society and an active member of that organization's Education and Certification Committees.

Richard van de VrieManaging Director, Lighting Partner B.V. (LPBV) -
Richard van de Vrie was previously the Managing Director of Lighting Partner and has been active in this role since 1999. Lighting Partner, an accent lighting company, was founded in 1991 by his father. Mr. van de Vrie launched the successful Eyeleds business in 2004 and simultaneously began working on developing and expanding the Eyeleds brand, marketing and distribution channels. Mr. Van de Vrie has been instrumental in driving the business strategy of LPBV for the past decade or so.
